Fixing Bumpy Roads

Tuolumne County, CA — Sections of three Tuolumne County roadways will be getting some much needed repairs. The Tuolumne County Transportation Council (TCTC) voted to use $674,700 in state funds to repave the stretches of roads.

Here is TCTC’s list of what roads and sections will be repaired:

Parrotts Ferry Road:  Approximately 1.24 miles (6,551 feet) of Parrotts Ferry Road from Jackson Street to Marble Quarry Road

Dodge Ridge Road:  Approximately .47 mile (2,500 feet) of Dodge Ridge Road from Pinecrest School Road to 5,000 feet east of Crestview Road

Jackson Street/Yankee Hill Road:  Approximately .74 mile (3,900 feet) of Yankee Hill Road from Parrotts Ferry Road  to approximately 800 feet east of Columbia Vista Drive.

TCTC Transportation Planner Tyler Summersett says there is no set date for these projects, but it is likely they will be part of next year’s summer construction season.
