Copperopolis, CA — Cal Fire reports the forward rate of spread has been stopped at five acres. A car pulling a trailer caught on fire on Highway 4 near Main Street in Copperopolis. Cal Fire reports when firefighters arrived on the scene, the trailer was fully engulfed. The flames have spread to heavy brush nearby. Firefighters battled the blaze from the ground and air. No structures were threatened.
