Copperopolis, CA — Firefighters are on the scene of a car fire which has spread to nearby vegetation on Highway 4 near Main Street in Copperopolis. The CHP reports a car pulling a trailer caught on fire. A Cal Fire report when firefighters arrived on the scene, the trailer was fully engulfed. The flames have spread to 1 to 2 acres of vegetation. Cal Fire reports the rate of spread is moderate and no structures are threatened.
