Mono Way Work Continues

Sonora, CA — Throughout the week, westbound Mono Way traffic will be reduced to a single lane.

There will be some grading work done for the new sidewalks on the north side of Mono Way. Work will be taking place between Greenley Road and Cameron Lane.

The foundation work will also continue for a new retaining wall between Cameron Lane and Rogers Road. The retaining wall construction will last 3-4 weeks.

There will remain access to all businesses in the construction zone.

In addition, coming up on Wednesday, Mountain View Road will be paved near Fir Drive. Residents on Mountain View Road will have limited access that day, so vehicles should be parked on adjacent streets during the construction.

The City of Sonora reports that some of the heavier construction, which could result in detours, may start as early as next week.
