Poll Looks At Governor’s Race

Sacramento, CA — A new Field Poll examines the Governor’s race between Jerry Brown and Neel Kashkari.

It found that 52% of likely California voters plan to vote for the incumbent Brown, and 32% are in favor the challenger Kashkari. The remaining percentage is undecided. It is the first public opinion poll since Kashkari fended off a challenge in the primary by Republican Tim Donnelly.

Brown is seeking an unprecedented fourth term as Governor. Kashkari, a former U.S. Treasury official, is making his first run for public office.
