Pinecrest, CA — The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team has recovered the body of a missing swimmer that drowned in early May.
26-year-old Ronnie Hayden of Kentucky was an active U.S. Air Force member that was stationed at Travis Air Force Base. He had been recreating with friends near the area known as Cleo’s Bath. He dove into the water but never resurfaced. The body was located on Saturday during a search and rescue operation.
An autopsy is pending.
