Traffic Hazard HWY 108

Jamestown, CA — Emergency crews are on the scene of a traffic hazard on Highway 108 and 49 near the Montezuma Junction in Jamestown.  The CHP reports a forklift has fallen off a big rig and is blocking one lane.  Also, some large batteries are in the roadway.  The CHP has officers on the scene directing traffic. We will bring you more information as soon as it is available.

Update 2:45 pm: The CHP reports tow crews are on scene working to clear the debris.

Update 3 pm: The CHP reports the roadway is now clear and traffic is moving once again.
