Storm Drain Work On Mono Way

Sonora, CA – Minor traffic delays can be expected this week as part of the Mono Way widening project.

Some new storm drain lines will be installed on the north side of Mono Way from the Chevron station to east of the Old Bird House building on Rodgers Road. In addition, some of the existing sewer lines will be relocated. Work will take place from 6am to 4pm. No lane closures are planned for this week, but brief delays are possible. The City is asking motorists to keep an eye out for workers and trucks in the area.

It is noted that there will still be access to all businesses and homes along Mono Way, despite the construction.
