Glencoe, CA — One person has died in a solo crash in Calaveras County. The accident happened on Highway 26 near Ridge Road by Glencoe.
The CHP reports a person was pinned in the car and once freed CPR was given, but the victim succumb to their injuries.
Highway 26 remains closed. Traffic is backed up as emergency crews work to remove the debris. We will bring you more information as soon as it is available.
Update 11:15 am: The CHP reports Highway 26 is open and traffic is moving.
