“Green Cough” Has Top Jump

Angels Camp, CA — The 2014 International Frog Jump is in the books.

Casey Nash of Vallecito and his frog “Green Cough” were the big winners yesterday afternoon. Green Cough jumped 19’8. Casey’s father Mike was the 2006 winner of the International Frog Jump, and is grandfather Jerry Heintz was a member of the Angels Camp Booster Club, which is the jump’s founding organization.

Nash was part of the group known as the Calaveras Frog Jockeys.  Yesterday’s International Frog Jump helped close out a busy weekend at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds.
