Marijuana Money And Fire Station Rezoning Okayed

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Supervisors unanimously approve both at its meeting this week.

The board approved rezoning the former fire station building on Ebbetts Pass Fire Protection District property located at 1028 Manuel Road in Arnold. The proposal called for changing the zoning from Public Service to General Commercial to make it easier to sell the property.

The Board also voted unanimously in favor of the Sherriff signing an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration, to receive $40K for marijuana eradication efforts.
