Waterfalls Roaring In Yosemite

Yosemite, CA — It is the best time of the year to see waterfalls in Yosemite National Park.

“In fact, I’ve heard that this weekend will be the peak water flow,” says Yosemite Ranger Scott Gediman. “The Yosemite Falls is flowing, so is Bridalveil Fall, and the Dogwoods are blooming. Its always beautiful in Yosemite, but now is a particularly beautiful time of year.”

The video in the upper left box shows Lower Yosemite Falls two weeks ago on Easter Sunday.

Also of note, Gediman will be the guest on Mother Lode Views this weekend to talk about how the new Merced River Plan will impact Yosemite. He’ll also talk about new construction projects, why several high level officials will be at the park this coming June, and repairs that will be made following last month’s major rockslide near Hetch Hetchy.
