Missing Woman In Tuolumne County

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing woman.

Patricia Sue Tolhurst, 46, was last seen about a week ago, and her vehicle was found on Tuesday, unoccupied, near the Donnell Vista Point.

“Patricia was last seen in Tuolumne City on April 20th visiting a friend,” says Sgt. Scott Johnson, Sheriff’s Office spokesperson. “The friend had not heard from her, and on April 22nd contacted the Sheriff’s Office. Tollhurst had indicated that she was going to Kennedy Meadows.”

The Sheriff’s Office notes that on April 20th, Tollhurst sent a letter to some friends, via US Mail, stating that she was going to be doing some hiking up in that area.

Since being notified on April 22nd, the Sheriff’s Office has been conducting a search near her located Toyota 4-Runner. At this point, the Sheriff’s Office does not have any indication that there was foul play involved. Anyone with information on Tolhurst’s whereabouts should contact the Sheriff’s Office at 209-533-5815.

Tollhurst is the owner of Patty’s Shack restaurant in East Sonora.
