Columbia To Host Scholarship Ceremony

Columbia, CA — This year, 72 students were awarded a total of $84,000 in scholarships to attend Columbia College.

The Columbia College Foundation will host a Scholarship and Awards Celebration on Thursday at 4:30pm in the Dogwood Forum.

“This celebration is always an uplifting event for everyone involved,” says Mel Kirk, Columbia College Foundation President. “It’s inspiring to see the generosity of our community, and the hard work of the students, come together in such a meaningful way.”

Scholarship recipients and donors will be recognized at Thursday’s celebration. It is open to the public.

It is noted that around 20 scholarships every year are funded through the Foundation’s Osher Scholarship Endowment, which was established in partnership with the Bernard Osher Foundation and the Foundation for California Community Colleges.
