Motorcycle VS School Bus Crash

Columbia, CA — Emergency crews are headed to a motorcycle versus school bus crash in downtown Sonora.  The CHP reports a motorcycle and school bus carrying eight students and their Coach collided on Highway 49 at N. Washington Street.  There is no word on what school the students attend.  An ambulance has been called to the scene, but there is no information on injuries at this time.

Update 7:45 p.m.: The CHP reports Highway 49 is down to one-way controlled traffic.

Update 8:10 p.m.:  The CHP reports Highway 49 is now open and traffic is moving freely.  There is still no word on injuries at this time.
