Fatal Victim Identified

Sonora, CA — The CHP has released the name of the woman killed in a crash Saturday on Highway 49 in Tuolumne County.

The accident occurred just after 2:30pm near the intersection of Flume Road. 30-year-old Candice Lynn Flint was pronounced dead at the scene. She was the only passenger in the 1998 Ford Mustang driven by 32-year-old Joshua Hamricka of Ceres. Hamricka traveled off the side of the highway and hit a tree. He suffered minor injuries and was arrested for DUI.
