Tuolumne County, CA — The CHP has not released the name of the woman who was killed Saturday afternoon on Highway 49 near Flume Road in Tuolumne County.
The unidentified 30-year-old from Ceres was a passenger in a car driven by 32-year-old Joshua Hamricka of Ceres. The 1998 Ford Mustang went off the Highway and struck a tree at around 2:30pm. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Hamricka was found to be intoxicated and was booked into Tuolumne County Jail.
