Supervisors First Meeting Of April

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will hear from the attorneys hired to give advice on water issues.

During today’s meeting, the Board will hear a presentation from Nicholas A. Jacobs, Somach Simmons and Dunn, about Tuolumne County water rights and suggested courses of action.
The Board will also provide input to the attorneys regarding the county’s water related goals.

In addition, the Supervisors will hold a public hearing on submitting a Community Development Block Grant request for $1.4 million dollars to benefit the Gibbs Estate Sewer Rehabilitation Project, $374K for Housing Stabilization Services, and $100K for a Tuolumne City Sewer Planning Study.

The Board will also vote whether to give input to the Forest Service about the Rim Fire Hazard Tree Removal Environmental Assessment. Today’s meeting starts at 9am in downtown Sonora.
