Carson Hill Crash Details

The CHP has released information about yesterday’s crash involving a BMW rolling down an embankment near Carson Hill.

The accident occurred at 8am along Highway 49, just to the south of Carson Hill. The CHP reports that 18-Year-old Dakota Rhyen Argo of Sonora was driving the 1992 BMW and lost control going into a curve. The CHP reports that the car was traveling 45-50 mph, which officers say was too fast given the rainy conditions. The vehicle spun around, went down a steep embankment, and overturned several times. Argo and his only passenger, 20-year-old Rebecca Lynn Schoon of Sonora, were transported by ambulance to Sonora Regional Medical Center.

The CHP reports that they both reportedly sustained “minor injuries.”
