Morning Traffic Hazards

Tuolumne County, CA — There is a rockslide, and a downed tree, that many commuters will want to take note of this morning.

The CHP reports that there is a rock and mud slide approximately one mile up from the bottom of Old Priest Grade. A county roads crew is responding, so motorists will want to use caution.

A large oak tree has fallen across Sommette Drive, near the intersection of Phoenix Lake Road. It is temporarily blocking both lanes of Sommette Drive.

There is also a two-vehicle accident on Highway 108 near 5th Avenue in Jamestown. The CHP reports that no one was injured, but expect activity in that area.
