Budget And Jail On Agenda

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Supervisors will discuss several issues today.


The Board will vote whether to pass a resolution supporting federal Wild and Scenic protections for the Mokelumne River. The Board will also get an update on planning for the 2014-15 budget. County documents indicate the Board is looking at a nearly $8 million shortfall, and will have to look at various cuts in the months ahead. In addition, the Board will vote on maintenance and custodial services for the new jail facility, which is scheduled to open this Spring.


Today’s meeting starts at 9am at the Government Center in San Andreas.
