Highway 108 Crash Under Investigation

Sonora, CA — The CHP has released the names of the individuals involved in yesterday’s crash involving an SUV and a taxicab.

The collision involved a Toyota SUV driven by 44-year-old Glenn Cowles of Sacramento, and a Golden State Cab driven by 39-year-old William Clark of Tuolumne. They were both taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center to treat minor to moderate injuries. Also taken to SRMC was a passenger in the SUV, Devann Burnam and a passenger in the cab, Wyatt Lund.

A spokesperson for the CHP says what led to the crash is not immediately known. Traffic was redirected for about a half an hour while officials cleared wreckage from the highway. More information will be released when it is available.
