CHP ID’s Twain Harte Woman Killed

Standard, CA — The CHP has identified the Twain Harte woman that was tragically killed in a crash on Highway 108.


55-year-old Dorothy Ruth Wright was traveling near the Peaceful Oak Road intersection Friday evening and she hit a guardrail, and then proceeded to cross over the double yellow lines into the opposing traffic lane. Wright’s sedan collided with a Dodge pickup truck driven by 56-year-old Douglas Coke. Wright was pronounced dead at the scene, and Coke and his passenger had minor injuries.


An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
