Pick-up Versus Logging Truck

Jamestown, CA — There is a pick-up versus a logging truck crash in Tuolumne County. A Toyota pick-up truck has smashed into Semi-truck on Sims Road near Highway 120. The CHP reports a pick-up went off the roadway into a pasture, rolled over and landed its roof. Emergency crews are heading to the scene and there are reports that a person is trapped inside the pick-up. Motorists will want to slow down and use caution in the area. We will bring you more information as soon as it is available.

Update 3:45 p.m.:  The CHP confirms a person is trapped in the pick-up and that they are unresponsive at this time.  There is no word on injuries.


Update 3:52 p.m.:  The CHP reports there are major injuries in the crash.
