Rancho Calaveras, CA — A San Andreas man suffered major injuries after a DUI crash on Christmas day. It happened at 6:25 pm in Rancho Calaveras.
The CHP reports 66-year-old Robert Jackson Beck was driving a Mercedes C280 north on Jenny Lind Road south of Highway 26 when he lost control on a curve. Beck’s car went off the roadway onto the right shoulder and hit a dirt embankment.
CHP officers on the scene determined Beck was Under the Influence of alcohol and placed him under arrested. Beck was taken by ambulance to Mark Twain Medical Center with major injuries.
