Calaveras SUV Crash

Arnold, CA — A man suffered only minor injuries in a rollover vehicle accident in Calaveras County.

The CHP reports that 18-year-old Nathaniel Heller of Arnold was driving a Dodge Durango on Highway 4 on Sunday night, east of Hunter Dam Road, when he drove off the highway and overturned. Heller told the CHP he thought a tire was going flat, so he took his eyes off the road for a second, and when he looked up he was going straight off the highway.

The SUV then rolled over as it went down the embankment. Heller was able to walk up to the highway to seek help, and was later transported to Mark Twain Medical Center. The accident happened at 10pm.

The CHP notes that there were no drugs or alcohol involved in the crash.
