Caltrans Work Scheduled For Next Week

Caltrans reports that there will be some traffic delays in areas of the Mother Lode next week.


Work is scheduled throughout the week, expect for Wednesday, Christmas Day. Emergency repairs will be made to the shoulder of Highway 108/120 at J-59. The work will be taking place from 7am-6pm, Monday and Tuesday, as well as Thursday and Friday. Also in Tuolumne County, crews will be sealing cracks next week on Highway 49 near Moccasin Creek and Jackass Gulch Bridge. Five minute delays can be expected in those areas. Thursday and Friday of next week, road maintenance will be done throughout the day on Highway 108/49 near Chicken Ranch Road. Five minute traffic delays are projected.


In Calaveras County, there will be one-way traffic control in place next Friday on Highway 12 at the Calaveras River Bridge. Minor delays can also be expected throughout next week on Highway 49 at the bridge over Calaveritas Creek.


All of the work is weather permitting.
