Update Rollover Crash Highway 49 Reopened

Sonora, CA — After being down to one-way traffic for more than an hour, the highway is reopened. The solo vehicle crash happened around 5:40 pm on Highway 49 near O’Hara Drive just up from the AM PM gas station on Washington Street in Sonora. The CHP reports a Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck went off the roadway and rolled over and landed on its side. Officers directed one-lane traffic while crews worked to clear up the debris and tow the truck from the scene. The CHP reports there are minor injuries.
