Calaveras Supervisors Look At Development Fees

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Supervisors will vote whether to change the amount of money developers pay into the county’s road mitigation program.


On the table is a 2.62% increase tied to the Construction Cost Index (CCI). County documents show that the cost developers would pay for a single family residence would grow from the current $4,429 to $4,545.


In comparison to neighboring counties, Calaveras documents show that Amador County charges $6,380 for a single family new home. Tuolumne County is $3,115 for a parcel under two acres and $4,210 on parcels over two acres.


Today’s meeting begins at 9am in the Supervisors meeting room.
