Update: Sonora Pedestrian VS Car Crash

Sonora, CA — We now know the name of the woman who was hit by a car while crossing the street in Sonora just before 1 pm yesterday. The CHP reports 23 year-old Kimberly Stuffer of Sonora was knocked to the ground after a car hit her in the crosswalk at the intersection of Greenley Road and Sylva Lane. 75 year-old Richard Rogers of Columbia was turning onto Greenley Road in a 2014 Subaru and told officers he did not see Stuffer.

Stuffer suffered head and knee injuries and was taken by ambulance to Sonora Regional Medical Center. The CPH says drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the collision.
