Sonora, CA — Motorists are experiencing notable delays on Highway 108 near the bypass construction.
“Caltrans is doing some one-way traffic control for the new bypass section from Via Este to Serrano Road,” says CHP Officer Nick Norton. “It would be best to use an alternate route to get around that while the work is taking place up until five o’clock.”
Traffic has been at a standstill at times this morning.
Officer Norton says alternate routes include Tuolumne Road up through Soulsbyville or taking back roads off of Phoenix Lake Road.
