Solo Crash In Sonora

Phoenix Lake, CA — Emergency crews are responding to a solo crash on the 20-thousand-block of Phoenix Lake Road. The CHP reports a pick-up truck has gone off the roadway and smashed into a tree. There are reports that CPR is being administered at the scene. The accident is between Midland Drive and Sommette Drive. Motorists will want to take precautions in the area. We will update you as soon as more information is available.

Update1:05pm: The CHP reports an ambulance is on scene. They say the front end of the pick-up has major damage.


Update 1:30pm: CHP Officer Nick Norton says for an unknown reason the vehicle veered off the right side of the road and collided with a tree. He says,”CPR was in progress at the scene and continued in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.” There is no word on the extent of the person’s injuries. Norton says there are no eye witnesses to the crash and it is still under investigation.
