Tower And Mono Way Widening On Council Agenda

Sonora, CA — The Sonora City Council will hear an appeal from the Tuolumne Heritage Committee about the Planning Commission’s decision to issue a permit to raise an AT&T Pole on William Street. It is one of the items on tonight’s City Council agenda. The Planning Commission approved a request last month to allow an AT&T dish receiver to rise up 12 additional ft.

The Council will also review plans for the Mono Way Widening project, and decide whether give the green light to request bids from contractors.

In addition, the City will vote whether to close down Washington Street for the October 18th Sonora High Homecoming Parade. Tonight’s meeting begins at five o-clock at Sonora City Hall.
