Two Vegetation Fires In Calaveras County

Calalveras County, CA — Firefighters and Columbia air units are heading to two vegetation fires in Calaveras County.

Flames broke out at the 2700 block of Quail Hill Road near Bow Drive in the Copper Cove Subdivision in Copperopolis just after 3:30pm. Minutes later second vegetaion fire ignited on Highway 4 and Milton Road in Farmington.


There is no word on size or whether any structures are threatened in either fire.


Update 5:55pm: Cal Fire reports both were small fires and were contained just minutes after firefighters arrived on the scenes. No Structures were threatened in either fire.
