Update: Power Lines Down In Sonora

A tree limb brought down power lines in the 700 block of Barretta Street in Sonora. Barretta Street was shutdown around 2:30 Thursday afternoon between Mono Way and South Shepherd Street. Sonora Police Officers had to direct traffic until signs were put up detouring travelers. PG & E worked for almost 5 hours to repair the lines. There were no reports of power outages. Sonora Police report a tree trimmer was on scene to deal with the tree limbs. The street opened back up just after 7pm.
