Sonora, CA — A man was arrested for allegedly causing serious injuries to his 18-month old daughter.
The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reports that the injured girl was examined at Sonora Regional Medical Center after sustaining “non-accidental injuries.” The girl had a fractured right arm, fractured right rib and bruising to the face. The Sheriff’s Office investigation led to the arrest of her biological father, identified as 23-year-old Michael Gayle. He faces charges of Child Endangerment and Child Abuse.
The Sheriff’s Office says it is continuing to investigate the case, and detectives are following up on additional information. Gayle was arrested earlier this week. The young girl has been released from the hospital.
