Valley Springs, CA — Officials are on scene of a vegetation fire in Valley Springs.
The fire along Watertown Road is estimated to be one acre in size. Crews have stopped the forward spread of the fire, and no homes or structures are considered in danger. Officials are on scene from CAL Fire and the Calaveras Consolidated Fire Authority. It is not immediately known what started the fire.
