Traffic Delays At Columbia College

Columbia, CA — Driving around the Columbia College campus will be somewhat challenging this week as CVIN contractors are doing work at various locations.

CVIN officials report that they will be rocksaw trenching, boring, and laying new asphalt at various locations on campus. Expect 5-10 minute delays throughout the day.

The work is part of the Central Valley Independent Next (CVIN) Broadband infrastructure installation. The 18-county CVIN project was funded by the federal stimulus package in 2009. It is designed to increase the broadband infrastructure of the region.
