Fire Extinguished In Cedar Ridge

Sonora, CA — Air and ground resources responded to a small fire in the Cedar Ridge area during the noon hour.

CAL Fire reports that the small blaze was put out by locals on scene just before firefighters arrived. It was on Kewin Mill Road near East Brookside Drive. It is not immediately known what caused the fire. Click here to view a map of the area.

Also, at around 11am a small spot grass fire was contained in the 11000 block of Campo Seco Road in Jamestown. It was near the Martin Lane intersection. Air and ground resources were dispatched, but it was quickly put out by the first arriving firefighters.
