Road Work On Supervisors Agenda

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Supervisors will discuss some openings in county government and potential road projects.

On Tuesday, the Board will discuss whether to request federal funding to make safety repairs on Parrotts Ferry Road, Tuolumne Road, Tuolumne Road North or Phoenix Lake Road. Funding is available for communities via the federal Highway Safety Improvement Program, which is administered under the Federal Highway Administration.

The Board will also vote whether to fill two open seats on the Board of Supervisors Planning Committee. County documents show that only two people have submitted applications, Mark Banks and Ron Kopf.

The Supervisors will also hear a presentation on the Joint Powers Agreement with the Tuolumne County Transportation Council. Tuesday’s meeting begins at 9am and it will be streamed live in the multimedia section of myMotherLode.com.
