The Sonora City Council has been notified by A.T. and T. Broadband Services that cable television rates in the area will be raised. Standard cable rates will be increased from $30.25 to $32.49 per month.
Other cable plans are set for one to two dollar monthly increases as well. The council will discuss the matter at their meeting at City Hall.
