Searches Upheld By High Court

The U-S Supreme Court in a Northern California case, has upheld broad police powers to search homes of people on probation for previous crimes. The unanimous decision reverses federal court rulings in California. The lower courts said evidence found in a search could NOT be used in the case of a man accused of vandalism on electric utility transformers.
