CHP Holiday Deaths Jump

Twenty people have died in California traffic accidents this Thanksgiving holiday, four more than last year at the same time.

The California Highway Patrol says many of those killed weren´t wearing seatbelts. At least two were pedestrians.

The deaths occurred between Wednesday afternoon and this morning.

The CHP also made 847 arrests for drunken driving, down from 959 last year.
