If you´re planning to head over the Sierra Nevada for the Holiday, expect winter driving conditions. Above the passes forecasters are predicting snow and wind combined. Rain and wind in the lower elevations. Accumulations could be up to 8 inches in the higher elevations, so be sure to have chains and emergency supplies in your vehicle.
