One of the eight candidates vying for three seats on the Tuolumne Utilities district is withdrawing. Doris Grinn says she believes the economics of sustaining small rural communities is a key factor in local water issues, and she has a chance to learn more about that with an opportunity to travel to England.
Grinn says she plans to seek a seat on the board in a future election, and use the material she gathers in Great Britain in that campaign.
