Thieves and Vandals Busy Again in Mother Lode

Tuolumne County deputies are investigating the theft of some 12 volt batteries, worth more than 300 dollars
from a parked big rig. The driver says he left his peterbuilt near the scales on Soulsbyville road. The batteries were taken from an unlocked
compartment.

Vandals have been busy again. Several windows and a toilet were broken at Don Pedro High School in La Grange, and in Jamestown, a
woman reports the rear window of her car was smashed while it was parked in the 10 thousand block of Preston Lane.
