Sonora City Council members have voted unanimously to purchase the property on North Washington
Street near City Hall that housed the 7-11 convenience store until last fall. Administrator Greg Applegate says the sale price was just over 258,000
dollars.
Some ideas to use for the property include a park and more parking for the city.
