A would-be car thief wasn´t counting on a Sonora man´s foresight, when he tried to nab a parked car
yesterday, apparently for a joy ride.
Sonora police say the car owner had gone into Kragen Auto Parts when the culprit got behind the wheel and tried
to take off. He didn´t even make out of the parking lot. The car was equipped with a fuel pump cut-off, and ran out of gas.
