This week´s “Stage Two” power alert is being cited as a reminder for Californians that the power crisis is
far from over.
P G and E´s Stephanie Espinosa says power imports from states in the Northwest dropped by 16 hundred megawatts triggering the
alert.
Governor Gray Davis has said his plan will keep rolling blackouts from happening during the summer, but Federal officials are on record
expecting them.
