Tuolumne County supervisors are asking the Bush administration to scrap the Forest Service´s Sierra
Nevada Framework and revive an abandoned timber sale.
Supervisors say the sale would have provided about three-and-a-half million board feet of
timber while thinning trees and brush that pose wildfire threats to homes near Pinecrest.
